Therapeutic Breast and Chest Massage

Breast and chest-area massage may support relaxation and ease chest and shoulder tension. Each session would respect your goals, health history, and boundaries, with appropriate draping and explicit consent throughout. Evidence for breast-specific health benefits is limited; massage does not treat breast disease or replace screening or medical care.

If you have undergone any breast-related surgeries, scar massage may help soften scars, ease sensitivity and tightness, and improve comfort during movement. Begin only when wounds are fully healed and your surgical team approves. Follow your care team’s guidance, especially after reconstruction or radiation therapy.

In WA, breast massage is legal with verbal and written consent and requires 16 hours of specialized education per WAC 246‑830‑555, obtain informed consent, and adapt techniques to client comfort. Some states have stricter rules; always confirm local regulations
